Erik ten Hag is still a leading candidate to take over as the new Tottenham manager, according to a report by The Athletic.
The Ajax manager was linked previously but opted to sign a new deal with the Eredivisie outfit.
It doesn’t appear as though that has put off Tottenham, however, with the report claiming he is on a shortlist.
Belgium incumbent Roberto Martinez, Brighton boss Graham Potter and ex-Spurs favourite Mauricio Pochettino are all in the frame.

Ten Hag is an intriguing candidate though and his appointment would delight supporters.
He has spent three-and-a-half years with the Dutch giants, winning two league titles and reaching the semi-final of the Champions League.
The beauty of Ten Hag’s appointment would be his progressive, modern-day style of football which has served him well.
He has also done superb work with the club’s younger players, and Tottenham would love such a strategy in North London.
Spurs have a superb academy and plenty of supporters feel it isn’t utilised often enough.
As a result, the appointment of Ten Hag might prove a shrewd move by Daniel Levy and the Tottenham board.
The 51-year-old has a very impressive 73% win ratio in Amsterdam and it’d be interesting to see if he’d consider the Spurs job.
Ten Hag could be sound Tottenham appointment
After watching Jose Mourinho’s conservative style of football, Spurs fans will hope for a change in strategy.
Ten Hag could provide that. His style of play has caught the eye at Ajax and Spurs would relish the shackles coming off next season.

Of course, the jury would remain out over his ability to manage in the Premier League.
He does appear to be a talented manager though and his ability to blood younger players won’t have gone unnoticed.
Plenty of names have been linked but Ten Hag might just be the one for Tottenham.
