When it comes to Arsenal’s signings in the last few seasons, most of them have worked out for the best.
The likes of Declan Rice and William Saliba are prime examples of the success the Gunners have had in the market. A number of Brazilians have been good buys as well, such as Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Magalhaes.
Last summer, Arsenal made big moves to land Kai Havertz, the aforementioned Rice and David Raya as well.
A striker is expected to be on their wanted list this summer. But as well as bringing players in, Arsenal also need to sell a few to ensure they balance up the books.
And according to reports from Italy, Edu is going to push hard to sell one of Mikel Arteta’s signings.

Edu wants to sell £8m Arteta signing
A number of Arsenal players could find themselves in the firing line this year when it comes to being sold.
Aaron Ramsdale is one such player. And according to a report from Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares is another on the chopping block.
It’s suggested Edu wants to find a new permanent home for Tavares this summer after allowing him out on loan in the last two seasons.
Luckily for Arsenal, it’s claimed in the same report that Lazio could be willing to take Tavares off their hands.
The Gunners paid £8m to sign Tavares back in 2021 but his time at the club has never worked out. Lazio, then, could be just what the Gunners are hoping for this summer.

Nuno Tavares needs to get out of Arsenal
Sometimes, it just doesn’t work out for a player and a club.
That is what’s happened here with Tavares and Arsenal. For one, the defender just isn’t good enough yet for what Arsenal need. That much is obvious given the club’s willingness to move him on.
For Tavares, it’s going to be about getting a fresh start somewhere that he can settle and play regularly.
He has been a touch unlucky at Nottingham Forest with injury. But if he can get fit and then get a move away or abroad, it will be ideal for him.
Sadly for Arsenal, this is one transfer they probably misjudged a bit.
