Italian outlet CalcioMercato have claimed that AS Roma striker Edin Dzeko wants to reject West Ham United in favour of Serie A side Inter Milan this summer.
West Ham have long been linked with a move for the 33-year-old striker, in a move that would see Manuel Pellegrini reunite himself with the talismanic striker after the duo worked together at Manchester City.
The Bosnian hitman remains a target for the Hammers and the report claims they were the frontrunners to land his signature this summer. That is until Inter became interested.
CalcioMercato claim that Inter have tabled a £13million offer for Dzeko, and although Roma want a whopping £21.6million for his services despite his age, Dzeko is said to want to join Inter.

TBR’s view
Dzeko has plenty of Premier League experience and would be a strong addition to a side that are lacking in a prolific, talismanic striker. He scored 50 goals in 130 Premier League appearances.
However, to sign any player for £21.6million, they should boast resale value and plenty of years left in the tank. Dzeko, unfortunately, does not have either.
Signing him would be a good addition, but for such a tall figure, it would be no big loss if the Hammers fail to land his signature.
