Tottenham Hotspur have four players on their summer transfer list, according to a report by The Daily Mail. After failing to sign anyone in the last two transfer windows, Spurs are expected to make a few signings this summer.
Donny Van de Beek tops the list of transfer targets. The Ajax midfielder scored against Tottenham in North London last week to give his side a major advantage after the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
But this has alerted Tottenham. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder was excellent against Spurs last week and capped his performance with a goal.
Now Tottenham want to sign the five-cap Netherlands international, who has scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists this season.
As well as Van de Beek, Tottenham are looking at Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha. The Ivory Coast international scored his 10th Premier League goal of the season this weekend.
But he could be expensive. According to another recent report by The Daily Mail, Crystal Palace will demand £80m for the 26-year-old winger.
The other two names on Tottenham’s list are promising young English players. Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon complete the four-man shortlist.
Grealish, 23, is spearheading Aston Villa’s promotion bid. The ex-England U21 starlet has scored six and assisted six this season with the Villans set for the play-offs.
Sessegnon has suffered relegation with Fulham and could be on the move. The 18-year-old plays at left-back or as a winger and has scored twice and assisted six goals this season.
