Tottenham target Franck Kessie is set to be offered to Wolves by Barcelona as part of a part-swap deal for Ruben Neves.
Spanish outlet Sport report that the move to take Neves to the Nou Camp is all but a done deal but Barcelona are trying to keep costs down.
Their financial issues are well known and they need to keep doing anything they can to keep deals affordable, even given Neves’ contract situation.
Getting a midfielder in would soften the blow of losing Neves for Wolves, although he has been such a huge part of their success.

Tottenham target Kessie to be offered to Wolves
As per La Repubblica, Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is really keen to sign Kessie in this month’s transfer window.
They claim, as translated by GIFN, the Barcelona star is Conte’s ‘favourite’ midfield target.
The Italian is said to be desperate for a new midfielder and Kessie is reportedly available for just £20 million (SPORT).
The Ivorian – branded a ‘devastating’ midfielder by Antonio Cassano – only joined Barcelona on a free transfer from AC Milan over the summer.
Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas echoed that on the Last Word On Spurs podcast on Monday and said: “They are still interested in the player. He is one of Conte and Patatici’s favourite players out there, Franck Kessie.
“They tried to get him last January but he was talking to Barcelona, and signed a pre-contract with them and joined them in the summer.
“I was surprised to see that report about Kessie, as he has been doing okay out there. I’m not aware that is on the cards but I haven’t probed very deeply into that one or that name just because of that.”
Spurs also seem like they need a new right wing-back, centre-backs and a forward to add variety to their squad, but it remains to be seen how much they spend mid-season, and whether Kessie wants to go to Wolves.
