Report details extraordinary lengths Jose Mourinho is going to for Tottenham success
Jose Mourinho might be getting some stick for Tottenham Hotspur’s recent performances, but the Portuguese boss cannot be accused of not working hard in his new role.
As reported by Football.London, Mourinho has ‘made plenty of use’ of Tottenham’s on-site living facilities at their Hotspur Way training ground. The Lodge, as it is called, is hardly a portacabin. It is a luxury accommodation unit based at the Enfield facility where Brazil stayed when preparing for the World Cup in 2018.
It is not the first time that Mourinho has been reported to have stayed at the training ground. The BBC reported he did so in December before a Premier League clash with Burnley.

The Football.London report suggests Mourinho is doing so in order to start again at 7 am the next day.
TBR’s View
Considering Mourinho lives on the other side of London, many a city commuter will fully understand his idea to simply stay at the workplace.
But it also shows that Mourinho is giving his all to the Tottenham cause.
Spurs have struggled in recent weeks and some fans are already frustrated with Mourinho’s style of play.
But considering the struggles that were already present at Tottenham when Mourinho arrived and the recent injury problems, Mourinho certainly deserves some space and time to truly have an impact at Tottenham.
