Tottenham Hotspur fans have been given just a glimpse of new signing Giovani Lo Celso following his move from Real Betis, but Football London’s latest report will come as an exciting one for Spurs supporters.
Lo Celso, 23, joined Tottenham on loan for the 2019-20 campaign. Football London reported that Spurs have splashed out £15million to land the 19-time Argentina international on loan, with a £51million permanent clause included in the deal.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star had managed just three substitute appearances before suffering a hip injury during September’s international break, which was supposed to keep him sidelined until November.
However, Football London have also reported that Lo Celso is now ‘very soon’ to returning to full training which could see him make his fourth appearances for the north London club before his expected return date of November.

TBR’s view – Can Lo Celso return finally give Spurs a spark?
The Argentine was hardly given a chance during his three substitute appearances, but the Argentina international may now be fast-tracked back into Mauricio Pochettino’s side with the team struggling.
Christian Eriksen’s future continues to unsettle the side, and the playmaker is being used perhaps more than Pochettino envisaged because of Lo Celso’s injury. But with Lo Celso close a return, Spurs could use his recovery to reinvigorate the side.
