Leicester City winger, Demarai Gray, is to leave the club, according to Brendan Rodgers, with Tottenham likely to be keeping an eye on proceedings.
Sky Sports reported Rodgers’ comments yesterday, with the Foxes boss admitting that it looks ‘pretty clear’ that Gray is looking for a fresh challenge.

Tottenham could well be interested in Gray. Back in August, it was claimed by the Sun that Jose Mourinho was a big fan of the Leicester man, and would be willing to look at a deal to bring Gray to North London.
Of course, nothing came of that deal but with Gray being allowed to leave on a free this summer, Mourinho may well revisit his interest.

Gray was part of the title-winning Leicester team back in 2016 but has found the going a bit tough in recent times. Summer signings like Cengiz Under, plus the emergence of Harvey Barnes, have pushed him down the pecking order.

It remains to be seen if Gray could flourish at a club like Tottenham, who are challenging for top honours and have a plethora of attacking talent at their disposal.
However, he is a Premier League winner, and Mourinho might see that sort of mentality as a valued commodity for his team.
Gray is a good player who has just lost his way a bit. A move away – as Rodgers says – would be suitable for everyone. Whether that is at Spurs, remains to be seen.
