Nottingham Forest are reportedly closing in on the signing of Bordeaux striker Hwang Ui-jo.
L’Equipe – via Sport Witness – have today claimed that the 29-year-old is expected at Forest on Thursday.
Hwang will undergo a medical with the Reds before signing for the City Ground outfit.

He will then link up with Olympiacos on a season-long loan, added the report.
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis also owns the Greek giants, who have won the last three Super League titles.
Yesterday, L’Equipe – also via Sport Witness – claimed that Hwang initially had doubts over the move.
The South Korea international was initially reluctant to link up with Forest, only to then go out on loan.
However, Hwang ‘would have finally accepted the idea’ of the transfer.
Indeed, L’Equipe cited a source close to the negotiations saying the move to Forest is ‘basically done’.
Fabrizio Romano has also “confirmed” that Hwang will link up with the Premier League newcomers.
Bordeaux suffered relegation from Ligue 1 last term and reportedly need to raise funds.
Hwang, 29, won rave reviews during his time at Les Girondins.
“It is easy to understand why successive coaches in France were tempted to try Hwang out wide,” the Ligue 1 website wrote last year.
“The (then) 28-year-old is a svelte 1.85m-tall, quick, has exceptional close control and is utterly direct. The perfect combination to receive a diagonal pass before moving play on.
“Yet those same tools make him a deadly striker. And he also has a keen eye for goal, often shooting early to catch the opposition goalkeeper off-guard, regardless of his starting position.”
