An exclusive report from 90Min has claimed that Bayern Munich defender David Alaba is now open to a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Man City lying in wait.
The Reds are said to be interested in Alaba, who is stalling on a new deal in Munich and is now widely expected to move away from the club either in January or the summer.

Alaba, 28, who has 73 caps for his country, is regarded as one of the top versatile players in world football, given his ability to play across the back and into midfield if needed.
Reports at the weekend suggested Barcelona had been put off by Alaba’s apparent £300k-a-week wage demands. That, of course, could well be a problem for Liverpool, whose highest earner is Mo Salah on around £200k.

But news of Alaba’s apparent openness in completing a deal will perk the Reds’ interest. It was believed previously that Alaba didn’t quite fancy the move to England, but his mindset appears to have changed now.
Could this go on like Thiago? – TBR View
Liverpool’s prolonged pursuit of Thiago seemed to be story of the summer in the transfer market. One minute he was coming the next there wasn’t even an official bid in. But, ultimately, he ended up at Anfield.
This could end up being the same sort of saga. It’s clear Alaba wants a new challenge, it just depends if that’s with Liverpool.
If he does sign, then it’s a brilliant piece of business for the club. Having two of Bayern’s top stars of the last few years in the ranks can only be a positive for Jurgen Klopp’s outfit.
