Football site 90Min have claimed that Daniel Levy is ready to sanction the loan exit of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli for as long as 18 months – with a whole host of Premier League and European clubs interested.

Alli, 24, clearly needs to go out on loan as he struggles to get game time. With Euro 2021 on the horizon, the former MK Dons man really need to be playing more regularly if he stands any chance of reviving his Spurs career – and gaining an England place.

The report claims that Levy is keen to keep £100,000-a-week (Spotrac) playmaker Alli on the books but in order to kickstart his career – a loan is seemingly required. It is claimed a ‘number’ of Premier League clubs are interested in the 37-time international.

But Spurs – undertandably – do not want to strengthen a rival. So, it appears that a move to Europe is likely, with both Milan clubs, Julian Nagelsmann’s RB Leipzig, Monaco and PSG are all keen. Leipzig, though, are set to sign Dominik Szoboszlai.

TBR’s view – Which club should Alli join?

Clearly, he needs a loan move. There is still a chance of breaking back in at Spurs but right now it looks unlikely. A move to a Premier League side would be ideal – an Everton, a Leeds, a Southampton could be good for Alli.

But perhaps European football would be crucial for Alli to remind Spurs that he can still offer something. Leipzig would be a brilliant move for Alli if he was to play regularly, similarly PSG. Any of the European sides would benefit Alli, if he is first choice.
