According to ESPN, Spurs supremo Daniel Levy will assess the future of Jose Mourinho in the summer, rather than take any action now.
Spurs have dipped well off the pace in the Premier League but are still in the Europa League, while they have a League Cup final in April to look forward to as well.

And that final, coupled with the pandemic causing financial issues, is giving Mourinho more time than he might be affored normally, according to ESPN.
It is claimed that reports of a £30m cost to get rid of Mourinho are close to being accurate. That fee would be crippling for Spurs at the moment, given the global finanical situation.

Spurs won last night against Wolfsberger 4-1, with Mourinho finally giving the likes of Bale and Dele Alli starting spots. However, it’s been a season shrouded in controversy, with talk picking up in recent weeks that pressure is building on the Spurs boss.
TBR View: Patience the key for Spurs here, it could still be a good season
The notion of winning the Premier League seems to have clouded some people’s judgement when it comes to Mourinho and Spurs.
The reality is, they were never going to win it. Not with City around anyway.
If Mourinho can win the League Cup, advance deep into the knockout stages of the EL and challenge for the top four, then surely that will be a successful season? Levy, then, is right to be biding his time with this one.
