Daniel Levy will stand firm on his asking price for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. According to The Telegraph, Levy will demand £250m for Kane in an attempt to fend off potential suitors.
Kane has a long-term contract at Tottenham which lasts until 2024. But that has not stopped clubs circling around the prolific striker. This report notes that Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid could make a move.
Levy is adamant that Tottenham need to hold onto Kane. This is why he will not entertain any offers south of £250m. It would take a world-record fee to prise the England captain away from North London.

Tottenham are worried about the futures of several first-team players amid rumours of unrest in the camp. Spurs have started the season poorly and were knocked out of the EFL Cup on Tuesday after losing to Colchester United. This was a realistic chance of a trophy but this is no longer possible.
Levy is worried that other players might end up following Christian Eriksen and expressing their desire to leave. Kane is an important part of Tottenham’s team so Levy does not want to lose him.
TBR’s view
Kane’s importance to this Tottenham team cannot be understated. Not only is he a proven goalscorer at every level but he is also a talisman on the field and a confidence-boost for his team.
Without Kane in the team against Colchester, Spurs struggled to make things happen. Tottenham are under no pressure to sell him for under his value so Levy needs to maintain his hardline stance.
