Former Arsenal loanee Dani Ceballos has reportedly informed Real Madrid he is not interested in joining AC Milan on loan. In fact, he has reportedly made it clear that, if he is to be sent out on loan again this season, he wants to return to The Emirates.
That is according to Defensa Central, who claim that Ceballos will be allowed to leave Real Madrid again this summer as Zinedine Zidane has no place for him in the current Los Merengues squad.
The report then touches on Milan’s recent interest. However, it is then made clear that Ceballos would prefer a move back to Arsenal above all else this summer.
Recent reports suggested Arsenal’s recent recruitment reshuffle was threatening to scupper a repeat move for the Spaniard.

The Telegraph claimed that Arsenal were in talks with Real Madrid about a new deal for the Spanish midfielder but the recent departure of Raul Sanllehi has delayed any move. Chief executive Vinai Venkatesham is now in charge of negotiating the deal but AC Milan were attracted by the delays.
A report from MARCA in July suggested Ceballos could be available for €25 million (£22.5m), but Arsenal were believed to be pushing for another loan deal with a potential obligation to buy.
Mikel Arteta made it clear last month, as reported by The Guardian, that he ‘loves’ the ‘passion’ Ceballos has for the game and was excited by the way the player has been ‘evolving’ at The Emirates.
So hearing that his choice would be to remain an Arsenal player will undoubtedly give Gunners fans hope that they can secure the 24-year-old’s return.
Considering how impressive Ceballos was after the Premier League restart, it could be a potentially vital piece of business.
