Crystal Palace have reportedly set their sights on Frank Lampard as Roy Hodgson’s potential successor, according to The Telegraph.
Hodgson’s contract at Selhurst is due to expire at the end of the season and the Eagles have been mulling over whether or not to make a change and who might succeed him.
The 73-year-old has been great for Palace since taking over from Frank de Boer in September 2017, leading the club to 11th, 12th and 14th-placed finishes in the Premier League.

Another mid-table season is on the cards for the Eagles this season, but with Hodgson’s future uncertain, the club has reportedly been looking at potential replacements.
And according to The Telegraph, Lampard is among Palace’s top choices.
The 42-year-old is reportedly keen to resume his managerial career in the Premier League, following 18 months in charge of Chelsea.
TBR View:
Lampard did well at Derby, famously beating Manchester United in the third round of the League Cup in 2018 and got them within a whisker of promotion from the Championship.
Although Lampard’s time at Chelsea culminated in his sacking, that’s fairly commonplace at Stamford Bridge, with some of the greatest managers in world football having also been fired from that role.
Jose Mourinho previously spoke of his “great potential” (The Mirror) while Jurgen Klopp, discussing his famous touchline spat with Lampard last summer, initially praised the former Chelsea man for being “really competitive” (talkSPORT).
