Premier League outfit Crystal Palace are still keen to sign Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher, according to the Daily Mail.
The Eagles don’t currently have a manager but the recruitment team are busy preparing plans for new recruits.
Gallagher shone during 2020/21 during a loan spell at West Brom, with the youngster unable to help the Baggies stay in the top-flight.
The season previous he helped Swansea reach the Championship play-offs where they lost to Brentford.
The 21-year-old typically operates in a conventional central midfield role, although he can play as a No.10.
Palace will begin life without Roy Hodgson this summer, with the ex-England boss now retired from the game.
Plenty of high-profile names have been linked with the vacancy and Palace will want the new man to progress their club.
Gallagher could prove to be a useful addition to the ranks. He scored twice for the Albion last season and his passing radar is superb.
Palace could certainly use some reinforcements in midfield and Gallagher would represent a pretty high-profile loan.
The report claims that Thomas Tuchel will look at him first during pre-season. The Eagles, however, would be keen to sign him now.

At 21 he has bags of time to improve and even on loan, he could become a pretty solid signing.
