Football London report that Ryan Sessegnon will return to outdoor Tottenham training this week – but Antonio Conte will take it easy on him.
Sessegnon, 21, started both games for Spurs against Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira. But a hamstring issue has since seen him sidelined for 21-22.
It comes after an encouraging loan spell in Germany with Hoffenheim. He had a hand in five goals during 29 league and cup appearances.
But ultimately, since his £30million move from Fulham, the England Under-21 international has flopped. Just 14 appearances have come since the deal.
Costing more than £2million a game, Sessegnon is working hard to return to fitness and is set to be back outside during the first week of the break.
Conte will take it easy on him. But what chances does Sessegnon have of breaking into the Spurs side under Conte?

Can Sessegnon break into Tottenham side, with Conte at helm?
Well, on paper, the 3-4-3 system suits Sessegnon. Conte has used his notorious three at the back with wing-backs during his first two games.
A 3-2 win over Vitesse, followed by a solid 0-0 with Everton away from home. The left wing-back role is currently occupied by Sergio Reguilon.
Ben Davies is being used as a left-sided centre-back. It means that if Reguilon was to become unavailable, Sessegnon would surely start.
That is, with Davies deployed elsewhere. Sessegnon might get his chance in Europe, and potentially the third round of the FA Cup in January.
But ultimately, he might have to consider a loan just to get some game time under his belt. January is now just over six weeks away.
