The Express claim Antonio Conte has madeMilan Skriniar is his main transfer priority in the January window at Tottenham Hotspur. The Inter Milan defender is about to enter the last 18 months of his current contract.
Skriniar, 26, has been a sensational investment for Inter over the last four and a half seasons. Joining the club for around £30million in 2017 from Sampdoria, he has gone on to clock up a huge 190 games in all competitions.
But the Slovakia ace has been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham over the past few windows. The arrival of Antonio Conte, the man who managed Skriniar last season, could tempt the defender into a move to Spurs.
Now, it is claimed that Conte has made Skriniar and a reunion at Spurs, his priority in January. It has been widely reported that Conte wants a centre-back. Inter Live say the Nerrazzuri wants as much as £51million.

Conte eyes Skriniar: But do Tottenham really need Inter star?
Well, in Conte’s back three, Skriniar is best-suited to the middle of a back three. Eric Dier is currently shining in the middle of the defence – even Conte suggesting that he could become a world-class option in that role.
Skriniar could play on the right, but Cristian Romero is a more-than-decent enough option in that role. Japhet Tanganga and Joe Rodon are good options as cover. A left-footed central defender is needed.
