Alfredo Pedulla claims that Antonio Conte has spoken to Fabio Paratici about the possibility of Tottenham bringing in striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Vlahovic, 21, is likely to be on the move – either in January or next summer. That is, after Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso confirmed as much.
La Viola’s supremo said that despite being offered terms that would have made him Fiorentina’s best-paid player ever, he has turned down a deal.
The Serbia star’s contract expires in 2023 – and Fiorentina are looking for a fee between £51million and £60million in the January window.
That is according to Pedulla, who also says that figure will reduce next summer by £9million. It is believed Conte likes Vlahovic ‘very much’.
With or without Harry Kane, Tottenham will go after Vlahovic. Conte and Paratici have had talks over whether Spurs can convince the forward.
The report also says Spurs are not alone. It is believed that Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are also keen. Vlahovic scored 21 Serie A goals last term.

Vlahovic to Tottenham: Below £60m is a bargain, for Liverpool too
Spurs need cover for Kane, and Liverpool need another attacking option behind the likes of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane. They need a plan B.
Vlahovic would hardly start for either side, but he would give them a lethal second option. For anything below £60million, he is easily value for money.
His age is proof of that, given his goal record already. To have 39 goals for Fiorentina at just 21 is quite simply, incredible.
