Tottenham Hotspur appear to have been snubbed by one of their top managerial targets, according to Sky Sports.
With Jose Mourinho no longer in the Spurs dugout, attention has turned to finding his permanent successor.
According to the Daily Mail, Daniel Levy won’t allow his search for a new manager to drag long into the summer.

One manager who’s been heavily linked with the role is Leicester City’s Brendan Rodgers.
The 48-year-old has worked wonders at the King Power Stadium since taking the reins in 2019.
Last term, Rodgers came within one game of a top-four finish, while this season they’re once again in the running for a Champions League place and are also in the FA Cup final.
But according to Sky Sports, Rodgers has no interest in talking to Spurs about their vacancy, and believes Leicester have the potential to regularly challenge for European places.
TBR View:
In a short of space of time, one purported leading candidate has officially ruled himself out of the running (Julian Nagelsmann, who’s joining Bayern Munich) and another is reported to have done so as well.
But in all fairness, Rodgers is currently at a Premier League club that he’s stamped his mark on, the team has kicked on in recent seasons and now is on the verge of an FA Cup triumph and a top-four finish.

He’s been earning widespread praise, with Kasper Schmeichel recently saying he’s “done wonders for us, I think he’s the absolute perfect manager for us at the perfect time” and Mourinho deeming him “very talented” and a “very good coach”.
Why would he leave for a club in the same division, lower in the table and in need of a major rebuilding job?
