Arsenal are in talks with Manchester City over signing Oleksandr Zinchenko, who is now their transfer priority.
The Athletic report that the Gunners seem to be pushing on with trying to land Zinchenko ahead of Lisandro Martinez at Ajax.
The Argentine, who can play at left-back and in central midfield, just like Zinchenko, now looks closer to joining Manchester United.
And it seems that Edu and Arsenal have now taken action, and are looking to do a second deal of the summer with City.

The report also says that reigning champions City are open to selling Zinchenko if Arsenal pay their asking price.
A fee and personal terms are still to be agreed, but Mikel Arteta maintains a strong relationship with the Ukrainian and is keen to reunite with him.
City are looking for a new left-back, with Marc Cucurella the leading candidate to join Erling Haaland and Kalvin Phillips as the club’s major new faces this summer.

Arsenal have already convinced Gabriel Jesus to turn his back on a fringe role at the Etihad Stadium and join them in the Europa League.
A potential issue for the Zinchenko deal is that the Athletic reported last month that he is far from certain to start for Arsenal if he joins them.
Zinchenko was described as ‘unbelievable‘ on international duty in June and he has quality and versatility which could be an asset to Arsenal.
