Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen could be the subject of another bid from Schalke, according to The Sun.
The Bundesliga side attempted to take the Dutchman on loan in January, but were unsuccessful.
The £17 million signing made just three appearances last term after he was initially frozen out by Mauricio Pochettino.
The manager did a U-turn over the star though following Harry Kane’s injury problems and starting selecting him for first-team squads again in 2019.
He is widely expected to depart the club this summer for considerably less than what he signed for.
At this point Spurs will be hoping to squeeze as much as they can out of any potential buyer for Janssen.
The club supposedly want around £12 million for the 17-cap international, but they’ll do well to get close to that.
Indeed, with only 12 months remaining on his contract, the chances of good compensation for Janssen are quite slim.
Between his and Fernando Llorente’s likely departures, Spurs will surely be investing in a new backup striker for Harry Kane this summer.
