According to Fotomac, Fenerbahçe are interested in signing Tottenham’s Moussa Sissoko, after Ozan Tufan joined Watford on loan.
What’s the story?
Well, the Hornets recently sign Tufan from Fenerbahçe on a season-long loan, leaving the Turkish giants short in midfield.
As a result, they are keen to sign Sissoko, who has been frozen out at Spurs even since Nuno Espirito Santo replaced José Mourinho.
The 71-cap France international was left on the bench for the 1-0 win over Manchester City.
Interestingly, Sissoko wasn’t even named in the squad for the 1-0 UEFA Conference League defeat to Paços de Ferreira.
Significantly, Fotomac believe the 32-year-old would be willing to join Fenerbahçe, if they can agree a fee with Tottenham.
Watford may have done Tottenham a favour

Without a doubt, Tottenham need to offload Sissoko.
His enormous £80,000-a-week wages are not befitting of his minor role in Nuno’s squad, to say the least.
That massive salary could be significant in helping to lure a new signing to N17, so it is imperative that Tottenham get rid of the ex-Newcastle man.

In truth, Watford might’ve done Spurs a big favour by signing Tufan.
How? Well, it has led to Fenerbahçe needing to sign Sissoko to replace him, a player who Nuno wants gone.
If he departs north London, and Spurs can attract an exciting signing using the spare wages, it would be exceptional business.
