A player reportedly wanted by Everton head coach Carlo Ancelotti would set the Toffees back £13million, according to Turkish outlet Milliyet.
Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama has been heavily linked with a move away, despite only joining the Superlig club permanently last summer after a loan spell from Standard Liege.
The 26-year-old has been impressive in his 32 appearances for Gala, though he has only featured 15 times this season due to an ACL injury from which he is currently recovering.

The Milliyet report claims that, while Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are both keen on Luyindama, Galatasaray will consider offers above €15million (£13million) – though ideally, they want to retain his services.
The Toffees have conceded 46 goals in the Premier League this season and, with Carlo Ancelotti now at the helm, it remains to be seen what kind of reinforcements he plans to make in the summer.
TBR View:
Everton’s defence has struggled at times this season, with the inconsistent Yerry Mina and Michael Keane having been saved at times by the unlikely success of Mason Holgate, but the Toffees certainly could do with a new central defender.
A tall, imposing and powerful centre-back, the 6ft 3in Luyindama also boasts great anticipation and reading of the game, his positional awareness and composure on the ball making him a great fit for the Premier League on top of his physical qualities.
Admittedly, he isn’t the quickest of players, and his long-term injury could be a cause for concern, but providing Everton do their due diligence regarding the player’s talents, suitability for English football and fitness, £13million doesn’t seem like too bad a price.
