Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Merih Demiral of Juventus, with the Italian side ready to sell him if they receive a significant offer, TuttoSport claim.
The centre-back search
Tottenham are on the look out for a central defender, as they aim to bolster their backline.
Spurs have moved for Jules Kounde and Takehiro Tomiyasu this summer already, but are still yet to get either deal over the line.
It seems that Tottenham now have their eyes on Demiral, if reports from Italy are to be believed.
Demiral in?
Demiral is actually yet to be seen by new Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri.

But it is claimed in the report that his time under Allegri may not last long, with Juve prepared to sell him for £30 million.
Demiral’s most recent showings at Euro 2020 were actually not the most encouraging, as he struggled in Turkey’s defence. He even scored the first own goal of the tournament, in Turkey’s opener against Italy.
However, Demiral has generally looked very solid in a Juve shirt and he would add more physicality to Tottenham’s backline if he was to join.
