Report: Club now want to sell full-back Leeds wanted in summer, even a 'small' fee will do

Leeds United were linked with Torino full-back Ola Aina in both transfer windows this year.

Now, the Whites may be able to get another shot at bringing the Nigeria international to Elland Road if they want.

According to Tuttosport, the Serie A club is ‘on the hunt for potential buyers’ for Aina.

The Italian outlet – via Torino Granata and Sport Witness – claims that the 26-year-old’s contract negotiations are currently ‘frozen’.

His future at Torino ‘remains in the balance’ amid too many ups and downs in his performances.

Therefore, technical director Davide Vagnati is now ‘on the hunt for potential buyers’ as early as January.

‘Even a small’ sum will do for them, and there are several suitors, added the report.

Leeds and Fulham were apparently eyeing Aina in the summer.

Now, his current suitors are ‘especially from the Premier League’.

Aina wouldn’t be a bad shout for Leeds.

While his main position is right-back, he has also featured many times at left-back and on the left of midfield.

Leeds could certainly do with bolstering the left side of defence, and Aina is a talented, experienced player.

He also came through the ranks in English football and has over 70 appearances in the Premier League and Championship.

With Torino seemingly willing to do business, the Whites will surely fancy their chances of landing the 26-cap ace.
