Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Darwin Nunez in recent weeks.
90Min has now provided an update regarding the player’s future.
According to the Daily Express, Spurs were amongst the clubs to have scouts in attendance to watch the Benfica ace against Liverpool last week.

Indeed, recent reports claimed Jorge Mendes was in talks with Nunez about a potential move to Tottenham in case they sell Harry Kane.
However, Spurs will have a huge battle on their hands if they are to sign him amid strong competition.
As well as Tottenham, the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Newcastle are also keen on the 22-year-old.
In addition, Sky Sports reporter Melissa Reddy claimed that Liverpool have been eyeing Nunez for a “long time”.
As well as being a world-class talent, Nunez appears to have few barries in terms of moving in summer.
Now, according to 90Min, Benfica have ‘already made it clear’ to Nunez that they’ll allow him to leave the club.
The Portuguese giants apparently want around £65million for the 31-goal star.
In addition, Nunez reportedly favours a move to the Premier League ahead of other top-flight competitions.
The 90Min article does, however, have a Manchester United angle.
It suggests Edinson Cavani could help the Red Devils in their pursuit of Nunez.
Why Nunez should pick Tottenham over other Premier League clubs
It’s not surprising that Nunez appears to have so many Premier League clubs after him.
But Tottenham have the perfect blend of first-team opportunities, stability, quality and ambition.
Spurs have found form at just the right time and are in a great position to seal a Champions League spot.
In addition, Tottenham have one of the best managers in the world in Antonio Conte.
Kane hasn’t had any major competition in years and has often had too much responsibility on his shoulders.
Signing Nunez would mean Tottenham wouldn’t have to rely as much on the England captain.
Kane and Nunez competing for a starting spot would undoubtedly push standards up even more.
And of course, if one suffers an injury, suspension or just needs some rest, the other one could come in.
