Valencia have now made a move to sign Helder Costa from Leeds United on deadline day.
Making a move
Sky report that Valencia have made an approach to sign the winger from Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
Costa’s future at Leeds is currently uncertain as Daniel James is set to arrive on loan from Manchester United.
James’ arrival will see Costa slip even further down the pecking order at Elland Road, which will be disastrous for the Portuguese.
The 27-year-old is already struggling for game time, so it may be best for all parties if he moves on at this stage.
Valencia have been looking to sign Costa for much of the summer so far, and it seems that they have made a move at the very last moments.

Leeds to agree to deal?
Leeds are surely unlikely to stand in his way at this point, given his lessening importance to Bielsa’s side, if a sizeable offer comes in.
If Costa does move it will bring to an end his three year stay at Elland Road.
His biggest impact came in the Championship, and since Leeds’ promotion he has struggled to break into Bielsa’s starting plans.
The fact that Valencia still want to sign him proves that quality that Costa does possess on his day though.
