Everton midfielder Andre Gomes is reportedly an option for Roma in the latter stages of the transfer window.
This is according to Corriere dello Sport, via Sport Witness.
The Toffees are ‘trying to sell’ the Portuguese midfielder, while the Giallorossi are eyeing a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum.

Gomes has sadly become a shadow of the player he was a few years ago.
He was a key player at Everton after a £22million deal brought him to Goodison Park from Barcelona three years ago.
However, a horror ankle injury in 2019 derailed his career and he has struggled to make an impact under successive managers since.
Gomes is currently on the sidelines and hasn’t featured in any of Everton’s Premier League games so far this season.
And last term, he only got 119 minutes of league football under his belt from March until the end of the campaign.
Corriere claim the £120,000-a-week man is ‘lost’ at Goodison Park as the Toffees are looking to offload him.
This means Roma could potentially get Gomes on the cheap, or even on loan.
Wijnaldum’s injury has left the Giallorossi scouring the market for cheap alternatives.
Corriere state that Gomes is fourth on the list of options.
Sky Sports reporter Alan Myers said back in July that the former Barcelona man was available for transfer.
It certainly looks as though Gomes doesn’t have much of a future at Goodison Park.
However, it remains to be seen what Everton can sort out in terms of a transfer solution.
They seem unlikely to recoup much of their initial outlay on Gomes due to his recent injury history and lack of regular game time.
