Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac could soon be leaving the Emirates Stadium, according to a report from Kicker.
The German outlet claims that Bayer Leverkusen, who have been in talks with the Gunners over the 27-year-old, have decided to move for him.
Kolasinac’s sale will earn Arsenal between 10m and 12m Euros (£9m and £11m), according to the publication.
Leverkusen have reportedly been need of bolstering their left-back position for a while and, after looking at several options, have opted for the Gunners man.
Kolasinac joined Arsenal in 2017 on a free transfer after leaving Schalke and has made 107 appearances for the North Londoners.
However, he is believed to be interested in a move back to Germany for personal reasons, as previously reported by Sky Germany.
While Kolasinac has put in some good displays for Arsenal over the years, he’s slipped down the pecking order both on the left flank and in central defence.
In addition, if he’s eager to return to Germany for personal reasons, a switch from Arsenal to a Bundesliga club is for the benefit of all parties.
And if the Gunners can get over £10m for his services, as well as freeing up £100,000-a-week from the wage bill, then it’ll be especially good business for the Gunners.
