Wolves are one of the sides interested in signing Barcelona forward Martin Braithwaite this summer, according to a report from La Razon.

Braithwaite could well leave Nou Camp this summer. The Dane has not had the easiest time since proving to be a surprise signing from Leganes.

La Razon reports that Valencia want the 30-year-old. However, Barcelona’s attempts to use the forward in a potential swap for Yunus Musah have failed.

And with that, Braithwaite is looking increasingly likely to move to the Premier League.

And according to La Razon, Wolves and West Ham would be interested. Brighton are also said to be potential admirers with the funds to make a deal happen as Ben White edges closer to joining Arsenal.

Wolves likely to be underwhelmed by Martin Braithwaite links

Braithwaite was one of several Denmark players who really shone at Euro 2020. Of course, his country gave England a scare in the semi-final.

But he has not had the best club career. Since leaving Toulouse in 2017, his best goals return in a single year is 10 in all competitions.

He is also on around £66,000-a-week with Barcelona. So he would not be a cheap signing for Bruno Lage’s men by any means.

Wolves have, admittedly, enjoyed some real success when signings from the continent in recent years. So writing Braithwaite off would be a mistake if he did head to Molineux.

But he would certainly arrive with a point to prove to supporters.
