A report by the Daily Mail has claimed that Jordan Jones, Brandon Barker and Jon Flanagan could all leave Rangers in the summer.
Steven Gerrard has overseen a disastrous run of form which has all but ended their chances of winning the league.
They are in the last 16 of the Europa League where they will face a tough test against Bayer Leverkusen.
It looks like being another trophyless season once more for Gerrard, however. After defeat to Hearts on Saturday in the Scottish Cup, the post-mortem might begin on another campaign without silverware.
Of the trio, none are really overly surprising. Jones and Barker only arrived in the summer but have barely played.
Flanagan has played 10 times in all competitions but his performances have come under the spotlight from supporters.
Gerrard might choose to offload some high earners and players boasting significant profit alongside the three outcasts.
Jones is perhaps the most disappointing one of the three. He arrived from Kilmarnock with big potential but the five-cap Northern Ireland international has flattered to deceive.
Next season will be key for Rangers. The boss will have spent two years assembling his squad and he really must win a trophy during his third year in the role.
Celtic’s dominance has been rubbed in the noses of Rangers supporters for too long. If next season follows suit with this one, then supporters may start to grow disgruntled.
