Real Madrid are reportedly reconsidering a potential exit for midfielder Dani Ceballos this season, according to MARCA.
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move in recent months. Ceballos has a strained relationship with re-appointed Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and his future at the Bernabeu looked bleak a month ago.
However, MARCA is now suggesting that Real Madrid are not ready to give up on the player just yet.

It comes after Ceballos’ starring role for Spain as they won the European Under-21 Championship this summer. Ceballos was the player of the tournament and Real are now wary of letting him go. The report states Real are losing faith in pursuit of Manchester United’s Paul Ogba and are struggling to see how they could adequately replace the 22-year-old.
The report mentions the interest from Tottenham Hotspur. They claim Spurs, as well as AC Milan, have called the player to ‘determine his intentions’ for next season.
As recently reported by Football.London, Real are said to be open to loaning Ceballos to Tottenham. Spurs, however, would only agree to a loan deal if it became permanent next summer.
Tottenham are after another midfielder this summer after already breaking their transfer record for Tanguy Ndombele. Giovani Lo Celso of Real Betis is believed to be high on their list of targets as well, but Ceballos is clearly a player Tottenham like.
It seems it may boil down to patching up the fractured relationship between Zidane and the player to see whether Tottenham have a chance of snapping Ceballos up this summer.
