Tottenham Hotspur have joined Arsenal in the running to sign Sander Berge, with Jeunes Footeux reporting that the midfielder is expected to leave Sheffield United this summer.
Berge became the Blades’ record signing when he moved to Bramall Lane last January (via club’s official website).

He has shown glimpses of real quality during his time in Chris Wilder’s ranks. However, it has obviously been a hugely disappointing season for the club.
They require an incredible end to the campaign to avoid relegation to the Championship. And it appears that that could prompt a couple of their Premier League rivals to make their move for Berge.

Norwegian outlet VG reported in November that the Gunners were monitoring the 23-year-old. And according to Jeunes Footeux, Spurs have joined them in the chase.
It is suggested in the report that the Norway international would cost around £22.3 million (€26 million).
It could be deemed a gamble to spend that sort of fee on Berge at this stage.
The youngster has been out of action due to injury since mid-December. And like several of his teammates, he has not been quite able to replicate the form that he showed last season.
But there have been flashes which have shown everyone why Sheffield United parted with over £20 million to sign him last year.
And Spurs and Arsenal are seemingly both hoping that they can help the midfielder take his game to the next level.
