Lucas Moura is one of the players Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to listen to offers for during the January transfer window, according to a report from Eurosport.
Lucas has played more of a peripheral role for Jose Mourinho’s men this season. The Brazilian has started just four times in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, he is just two games away from already matching last term’s tally of substitute appearances in the top flight.
He has been much more prominent in the Europa League this term. And it appears that Spurs do not plan to shut the door on the idea of the 28-year-old leaving the club this month.
According to Eurosport, Tottenham will listen to offers for Lucas. Dele Alli, Harry Winks, Davinson Sanchez and Erik Lamela are the other players in a similar boat.
TBR View: Lucas exit surely unlikely despite Spurs stance
As noted by BBC Sport, Lucas cost £23 million when he joined from Paris Saint-Germain in 2018.
Meanwhile, Spotrac shows that he is on £80,000-a-week. So signing the forward is going to represent a significant outlay for any admirer.
Tottenham are surely going to have no plans to let him leave on the cheap. He is still contributing even if he is not one of Mourinho’s first-choice forwards right now.
So perhaps it is fair to suggest that a move away from North London in this window looks unlikely – as things stand.
