Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs to have made an offer to Nikola Milenkovic’s agent, according to a report from Italian outlet La Nazione.
Milenkovic’s future looks set to be a key talking point for the coming windows. As reported by La Nazione, his contract with Fiorentina expires at the end of next season.

It is suggested that it is still possible that he could yet sign a new deal with La Viola. However, there seems to be plenty of admirers.
According to La Nazione, AC Milan are currently showing the most serious interest, but it is also claimed that both Spurs and Manchester United have made offers that are with his agent.

The report adds that Fiorentina’s asking price of £22.7 million has not changed in recent times.
They will clearly not want to lose Milenkovic. He has been an ever-present for Cesare Prandelli’s men this year.
But given the amount of interest, it should be little surprise if at least one club meets his asking price at some point. He is developing into a superb defender, having only recently turned 23.
With Tottenham reportedly making contact with his agent, it will be interesting to see how the links develop over the coming weeks.
Signing a centre-back perhaps does not need to be a priority for Spurs for January, but Milenkovic’s contract situation hints that there could be scope for an inspired piece of business.
If the report is correct, Tottenham may have already made their first move.
