Newcastle United are reportedly interested in a move for Philippe Coutinho, according to a report in Brazil.
The Magpies are on the verge of a takeover by a Saudi-backed consortium which would make the club one of the richest in world football.
With that has come a stream of rumours regarding big name signings Newcastle United could now pull off.
The likes of Harry Kane, Kyllian Mbappe and Arturo Vidal are all names to have done the rounds.
Brazilian playmaker Coutinho has also been present.

Now, according to a report from Brazilian paper Metropoles, Coutinho has become a ‘dream’ potential signing for the club.
A report this week from SPORT is suggesting that Coutinho is set for Chelsea, with Barcelona wanting a fee in the region of €90 million (£79.5m) for the player.
So it seems that is the price Newcastle will need to pay for the one-time (talkSPORT) £142m player this summer.
Coutinho is currently out of favour at Barcelona and has struggled for form at loan club Bayern Munich.
But his past performances for Liverpool, in particular against Newcastle United, would undoubtedly leave fans at St James’ Park excited about his potential arrival.
