Inter Milan are ready to make a move for Christian Eriksen in January, if they can qualify for the next stage of the Champions League.
The Danish international is out of contract in the summer and it appears he is on his way out of the club.
As a result, he has been linked with a host of clubs across Europe and in the Premier League.
One such club appears to be Inter Milan.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, and relayed by Sempre Inter and Calciomercato, a January bid is in the offing.
However, there is a catch. The report claims that despite a meeting between the club and Inter director Pierro Ausilio, the Italian side are not in a position to sign Eriksen at present. However, if they manage to qualify for the next round of the Champions League they would be willing to take the winter plunge.

Inter are currently level with Borussia Dortmund in their group and face Barcelona in their final game. Dortmund take on Slavia Prague, making them favourites to make the next round.
TBR’s View
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham are ready to let Eriksen go in January and avoid losing him for nothing in the summer.
However, Jose Mourinho has been happy to use the Dane since his arrival at the club and it would not be a surprise if he decides it is best to get the most out of the player until he leaves in the summer.
But should Inter come in with a tempting enough offer, his exit in January would not come as a shock.
