Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama’s deal to join Club Brugge is reportedly in danger of collapse. The Daily Mail reports that the Kenyan is facing a wait to discover if the Belgian side can secure his services in a £13 million deal. The report claims that Tottenham felt an agreement was in place last week but financial issues remain unresolved.
However, Wanyama is clearly not short of options. The report claims that up to four other teams have shared an interest in signing the player this summer.

Former club Celtic, Monaco, Valencia and Bologna are all keen on the player. However, they want to pursue a loan deal and Tottenham are hoping to secure a permanent exit.
TBR’s View
It seemed as though Tottenham had found a perfect new location for Wanyama to continue his career.
If a deal does fall apart it is clearly for the best that Tottenham can find a healthy alternative for the Kenyan.
He does not feature in the plans of Mauricio Pochettino and he deserves to be playing regular football elsewhere.
If not, then Tottenham will surely utilise him in some way throughout the season. But hopefully, Tottenham can iron out any problems and secure his £13 million move to Brugge.
