Reports in Turkey are suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou is on the verge of a move to Besiktas.
Numerous sources in Turkey, including Hurriyet, are suggesting the deal is nearing completion. They suggest a loan agreement has been agreed in principle which would see the French winger head to Istanbul for the season.
The reports come on the same day that Football.London reported on Nkoudou’s future at Tottenham. They suggested he was available for a permanent or loan transfer if a ‘suitable offer’ arose for his services.

TBR’s View
There is little doubt that Nkoudou could be moved on by Spurs this summer. Signed from Marseille in a protracted transfer which, according to the BBC, cost Tottenham £9 million in 2016, the winger has struggled in North London.
He has previously spent time on loan at Burnley and Monaco and despite an impressive pre-season appears to be out of Tottenham’s first-team plans this season.
So a loan move to Besiktas would make perfect sense.
However, Tottenham fans will be skeptical over these reports. In January, plenty of Turkish sources, including Sporx, also suggested the two clubs had agreed a loan deal for Nkoudou. That never happened. Hopefully, Tottenham can just find Nkoudou a new home where he can play regular first-team football.
