Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen is reportedly close to a move to Italian outfit Inter Milan.
According to the Sun, Spurs have accepted that the 27-year-old won’t be signing a new deal with them and his existing contract expires in the summer.
It is understood that Serie A club Inter have now “agreed in principal” a £17million deal for the attacking midfielder to sign him in this January transfer window.
The report details that Inter hope to wrap up the deal over the weekend and Eriksen’s set to sign a £7.5million-a-year deal with them until 2025.

TBR’s View:
Eriksen’s exit has looked on the cards now after much speculation and it will be great for Spurs to move on quickly once it’s completed.
Jose Mourinho has already signed Gedson Fernandes on an 18-month loan from Benfica to bolster his options, while Giovani Lo Celso is starting to come out of his shell too.
Eriksen may have gone off the boil this season, but he will leave Spurs as a club legend in some fans’ opinion and he’s given them so much.
The Danish playmaker has 69 goals and 89 assists in 303 appearances for Spurs, but regrettably looks to be leaving without a piece of silverware to his name.
He will now make the move to Antonio Conte’s Inter and it will be no surprise to see him return to his best given a chance of scenery.
