Chelsea are interested in Leon Bailey, with the Daily Mail reporting that Graham Potter’s men could make a move for the Aston Villa star should Christian Pulisic leave Stamford Bridge.
Pulisic’s future with the Blues is uncertain, with the £57.6 million American keen to play more regularly. And with that, Chelsea are now eyeing potential replacements.

And one of those on their radar is Bailey. The Daily Mail reports that the Blues are weighing up making a potential bid for the Jamaica international.
Chelsea interested in Leon Bailey
The report notes that Bailey is good friends with Raheem Sterling. Like Bailey, Sterling was, of course, born in Kingston, Jamaica. So linking up with Sterling may perhaps appeal to the Aston Villa star.

The Daily Mail notes that the Villans are under no pressure to sell Bailey to Chelsea. They paid £25 million for the 25-year-old. And they are ready to back Unai Emery in the market.
Villa fans may be a little divided over the prospect of losing Bailey. You would imagine that the club would have no interest in letting him leave unless they are presented with the chance to make a big profit.
He has taken a step forward this season. And he has scored twice in their last four Premier League games. However, it is probably also fair to say that Villa supporters are still yet to see the very best of Bailey since his switch.
He is a ‘fantastic‘ player with a frightening amount of pace. If everything clicks, he could be an unbelievable asset for Villa as they look to permanently elevate themselves up the Premier League table.
Having said that, some Villa fans will feel that it is too good an opportunity to turn down should Chelsea make a huge offer in one of the coming windows.
