Liverpool-owned defender Sepp van den Berg is reportedly already attracting interest ahead of next season.
The 19-year-old is currently impressing away from Anfield on a short-term loan in the Championship with Preston, who he joined on a temporary basis back in February.
According to the Athletic, there is interest beginning to surface in the Dutch teenager due to his form at Preston.
The report states that several Championship clubs are queuing up to try take him on loan next season, with one of them currently in contention for promotion.
Van den Berg, who moved to Merseyside giants Liverpool in 2019, is a highly-rated defender gaining valuable first-team experience in the second tier.
He’s a commanding 6ft 2in centre-back that is great in the air and comfortable in possession. However, at Preston he’s shown his versatility too by slotting in at right-back for most his time at Deepdale.

TBR’s View:
If you look at Liverpool’s centre-back situation this season, they have been desperately short of options in the heart of defence.
Liverpool senior boss Jurgen Klopp clearly wasn’t willing to throw Van den Berg into the senior squad for the second half of this season, albeit he has made four first-team appearances for the club.
It’ll be intriguing to see what Klopp decides to do with Van den Berg in pre-season.
As clubs put him on their transfer shortlist, perhaps a full season in the Championship could make sense.
