Sergio Reguilon’s future at Tottenham Hotspur remains uncertain ahead of next season.

Last season, the 25-year-old Spurs full-back fell out of contention under Antonio Conte.

The Tottenham manager often preferred Ryan Sessegnon at left wing-back.

Now, Spurs have brought in Ivan Perisic, seemingly pushing Reguilon further down the pecking order.

Worse still for the £25million man, Conte opted not to bring him on Tottenham’s tour of South Korea.

It was the clearest indication yet from the manager that he will enforce change on this Tottenham side.

The £25million man has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months, including Sevilla and Juventus.

On Friday, ABC de Sevilla reported that the La Liga side still wanted Reguilon.

However, they suggested a move would be difficult due to the player’s high price tag and salary.

But Saturday’s edition of AS – via Sport Witness – seems more positive regarding Sevilla’s hopes of landing Reguilon.

The Spanish outlet claims ‘negotiations are on the table’.

That said, there is no indication as to how far negotiations – or indeed talks – have gone.

Sport Witness speculated that Sevilla could be considering Reguilon, but not yet ‘lunging decisively forward’.

The website also suggested the Champions League outfit would be looking for a loan move.

Reguilon very much seems surplus to requirements at Tottenham, so the club needs to find a solution for him.

At the same time, Spurs will want to get a good deal for him, mindful that he’s a good asset.

Reguilon is young, talented, and has been capped for Spain, so there’s no reason for him to go cheap.
