Celtic are reportedly interested in attacker Yonatan Cohen from Israeli top-flight club Maccabi Tel Aviv.
According to the Scottish Sun, the 23-year-old is now a “prime target” for the Bhoys in the January transfer window.
It is understood that Celtic’s head of recruitment Nick Hammond has watched him in action recently and was impressed with his display.
The report explains that Cohen is valued around £2.5million and that Maccabi Tel Aviv will find it very difficult to “resist” an offer if his price tag his met.
Cohen has been a goal machine so far this season and has done enough to grab the attention of the Scottish champions.
The dazzling wide player has nine goals and seven assists in 20 matches across all competitions.
His form in recent weeks has been particularly impressive, with three goals in his last two league games.

TBR’s View:
Cohen is a versatile attacker that can play on both wings and has the pace in wide areas to torment full-backs.
The Israeli international has been in excellent form lately and it looks like he could add something to the attack at Parkhead.
With Scott Sinclair completing his move to Preston in January, Celtic could do with more attacking reinforcements to the squad.
