Celtic are facing an ever-increasing battle to keep hold of Odsonne Edouard, with The Times reporting that Brighton has now joined the likes of Leeds in the chase.
Reports in the printed press this weekend, specifically The Mirror (9/8, page 66), claimed that Leeds were making Edouard one of their number one priority signings for the summer.
The French striker has been in sensational form for Celtic over the last 12 months, drawing admiring glances from around Europe as well as the Premier League.
And Celtic’s task of trying to keep the forward seems to be getting tougher by the day, with the report from The Times yesterday claiming that Brighton has added their name to the list of potential suitors.
The Seagulls spent big last summer on Neal Maupay and aren’t averse to making a move for a player they see fit. Edouard is certainly that, having scored 27 goals in all competitions last summer.
It is believed the Bhoys will demand around £30m for their man, though. A hefty fee for any onlooking clubs.

Taking nothing away from Celtic and the Scottish game, but the Premier League is where most players want to be in modern football.
And Edouard, having already proven himself in Scotland, would surely thrive in the English game with the right team?
Brighton is a nice move for the striker. There’d be less pressure and he could adapt. However, he’s surely good enough to play for someone challenging higher, so it will be interesting to see how this one pans out.
