Odsonne Edouard is seemingly doing his chances of securing a move away from Celtic no favours with the striker wanting £85,000-a-week at his next club, according to The Sun on Sunday (15/8; page 63).
Edouard’s future remains a key talking point at Parkhead. His deal with the Hoops expires next year.

Celtic are prepared to sell the Frenchman. The Sun on Sunday (15/8; page 63) reports that the Bhoys value the 23-year-old at £15 million.
And there has been interest. The Sun notes that Southampton considered a move before signing Adam Armstrong.

Meanwhile, Brighton were also keen. However, they have been put off making a move.
And that stems from Edouard reportedly wanting £85,000-a-week at his next club.
Celtic may benefit more from keeping Edouard for final year of contract anyway
Of course, there are likely to be some Celtic fans who would prefer to see Edouard leave this summer.
Losing a striker of his calibre on a free is disappointing, particularly given some of the fees he has been linked with moving for in the past.
Having said that, Celtic probably do not need the money that urgently. They have done extremely well from selling some of their better players in the past.
So holding onto Edouard for one more year may actually be more beneficial.
Celtic actually look to have an opportunity under Ange Postecoglou. And having Edouard as well as Kyogo Furuhashi in attack makes the Hoops a daunting prospect.
