Celtic academy star Vincent Angelini has reportedly left the club to sign for Premier League side Watford.
According to the Watford Observer, the 17-year-old goalkeeper has signed a contract with the Hornets and will join the club’s youth system.
Angelini had signed a professional deal with Celtic two years ago. However, this contract expired last month.

The club did offer the teenager new terms, but these were rejected as reported by the Daily Record.
Watford have beaten out a good amount of competition for the signing of Angelini. As per the Daily Record, Brighton had the youngster at the club on trial.
Manchester United, Juventus, AC Milan and Lazio have also been linked with the keeper in recent months.
Angelini was highly rated at Celtic. In 2017 the youngster won the Goalkeeper of the Tournament award during the prestigious Marc Overmars Tournament in the Netherlands.

It is not all bad news for Celtic, though.
As reported earlier this week by the Watford Observer, the Hoops will complete the signing for Hornets youngster Bosun Lawal.
Just like Angelini, the Republic of Ireland youth international rejected new terms with Watford following the end of last season.
As per the report, Celtic will pay £150,000 for the midfielder this summer.
