Celtic playmaker Tom Rogic is reportedly wanted by European club Zenit St Petersburg.

According to the Scottish Sun, the Russian club are targeting a £9million raid for the attacking midfielder this summer.

It is understood that Zenit are keen on the left-footed dazzler after watching him in a European clash in 2018, but Celtic would want £15million for him.

The report details that Rogic is open to exiting Parkhead this summer, but would prefer a move to England.

Rogic has been a serial winner since he moved to Scotland in 2013 and become a real fan favourite.

The Australia international is a serious goal threat when he plays in the number 10 role behind the striker and has the tag of a big game player.

TBR’s View:

Rogic is certainly a talented individual that can win matches by himself on his day, but injuries have plagued his stint at Celtic and they should consider selling him if he does want to leave.

The creative maestro only managed 35 games across all competitions last season, scoring five goals and supplying six assists in return.

Bhoys manager Neil Lennon could do with an extra £9million to help rebuild his squad over the summer and there isn’t much point keeping Rogic around if his heart is set on a move.
