Celtic are interested in the signature of Polish youngster Michal Karbownik, according to reports.
The Daily Record is suggesting that Celtic have watched the 19-year-old talent play on two occasions this season and face a battle with Dynamo Moscow and Real Betis to secure his services.
It would be a shock signing, considering Celtic already have Greg Taylor and Boli Bolingoli who play in the left-back role the Legia Warsaw star has operated in most of this season.
However, Karbownik is actually right-footed, so Celtic may see him as an option on the opposite flank to support breakout star Jeremie Frimpong.

Celtic will not only have to do battle with Dynamo and Betis. A recent report from Gol24 suggested that a move to Barcelona was on the cards, with Legia set to bank €4 million (£3.5m) from the deal. That deal was, reportedly, as good as done, with Barca then set to loan the teen out to another Spanish club.
However, the global health crisis even has the likes of Barcelona penny-pinching and the deal is now off the cards. The report claims Legia are now looking for a fee of €3.6 million (£3.2m) to sell their left-back.
The Mirror (26/04/20; pg 68) also recently reported £10 million interest from Tottenham Hotspur, so Celtic have fairly illustrious company in their battle to secure this Polish talent.
Celtic fans will hope they win that battle, and that Karbownik lives up to the hype.
